About Flag Climb

Flag Climb is a physics climbing game with a single control. Your goalkeeper is stuck in a giant kit basket, and the only thing he can move is a corner flag. Point where the flag should go, plant it on the junk and swing it under you to push, hop and pull your way up.

The mountain is one long hand-built climb through ten sections: a pile of training balls, stadium terraces, ad boards, the team bus, wobbly kit crates, the dugout, a floodlight tower, the camera gantry, frozen pitch covers and the stadium roof. The cup waits at the very top. Miss a hook and you can fall a very long way, while the commentator enjoys every second of it.

How to play

  1. Move the mouse or drag your finger: the corner flag points where you point.
  2. Plant the flag tip on something, then swing it under you to push the basket up and forward.
  3. Hook the flag over an edge and swing it down to pull yourself up onto ledges.
  4. Swing fast against the junk to fling yourself across gaps. Careful on the ice: the flag slides unless you push straight in.
  5. Reach new sections for cash and climb all the way into the cup at the top.

Frequently asked questions

Is Flag Climb free?

Yes. The whole mountain can be climbed without spending coins. Coins are optional.

What is the difference between Easy and Classic?

Easy gives you a free checkpoint at the start of every section and lets your cash upgrades help you. Classic has no checkpoints and no upgrades, but pays 1.5 times the cash.

Do I lose my progress if I close the game?

No. Your climb is saved where you are, so you can continue from the same spot next time. End the climb from the pause menu to cash in.

How do I climb high walls?

Hook the flag over the top edge and swing it down towards you. The basket gets pulled up and over. For gaps, swing quickly while the flag is planted to fling yourself.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It plays in portrait and landscape with one finger, and also with a mouse or keyboard on desktop.
