About Cup 2048

Cup 2048 is a swipe-and-merge number puzzle with a football twist. Every tile is a piece of matchday kit: two cones make a ball, two balls make a boot, and the chain climbs through whistles, shirts, gloves, medals and scarves up to the trophies and the Golden Cup at 2048.

Play the endless Classic 4x4 board, the roomier Big 5x5, a Daily challenge where everyone gets the same board, or Time Attack: 50 levels where you must make a target item before the clock runs out, with red HARD and purple SUPER HARD levels that pay double and triple cash.

How to play

  1. Swipe (or use the arrow keys) to slide every tile on the board at once.
  2. Two equal items that bump into each other merge into the next item and add its number to your score.
  3. After every move a new cone (2) or ball (4) appears, so keep your board tidy: big items in one corner works well.
  4. The game ends when the board is full and no swipe can merge anything.
  5. In Time Attack, make the goal item shown on the podium before the timer hits zero.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cup 2048 free?

Yes. Every mode and every Time Attack level can be beaten without spending coins. Coins are optional.

What happens when I reach 2048?

You lift the Golden Cup, but the game keeps going. Merge two Golden Cups for the Legend Cup at 4096.

Is my Classic game saved?

Yes. Your Classic and Big 5x5 boards are saved after every move, so you can close the game and resume later.

How does the Daily challenge work?

Everyone gets the same starting board and the same new tiles today. Tools are switched off, so it is pure skill. Try to beat your best score before midnight.

What are HARD levels?

Every 5th Time Attack level is HARD with a shorter red timer and every 10th is SUPER HARD. They pay 2x and 3x cash, and the next level is always a breather.
