Ball Hero is a rolling physics platformer starring a football with a face. The evil square Cubes have stolen the trophy, so you roll, bounce and jump through a park, a city, a ball factory and a floodlit stadium to get it back. Every level ends in a goal net, and rolling into it sets off the crowd.
The ball has real momentum: it speeds up down slopes, bounces on hard landings and tips seesaws. Land on Cubes to squash them, chain squashes for bounce combos, ride moving platforms, push crates, float across water and dodge spikes and cannonballs. Every tenth level is a boss fight against a giant Cube that hops at you, slams the ground and then sits dizzy, ready to be stomped.
How to play
- Hold left or right to roll. The ball keeps its speed, so start your run-up early.
- Tap jump to hop. Hold it for a higher jump, tap it for a short one.
- Land on top of a Cube to squash it. Touching one from the side costs a heart, and spiked Cubes must be jumped over.
- Find the three hidden stars in each level and pass checkpoint flags so a fall only sends you back a little.
- Roll into the goal net to finish. In boss levels, dodge the hops and shockwaves, then jump on the boss while it is dizzy.
Frequently asked questions
Is Ball Hero free?
Yes. Every level can be finished without spending coins. Coins are optional, and continue, skip and the extra heart are free the first time.
How do I get all three stars?
Stars are hidden off the main path: high above platforms, on top of spring jumps, under water or over gaps. Springs, moving platforms and the Magnet upgrade help you reach them.
What are HARD and SUPER HARD levels?
Every fifth level is a HARD level that pays double, and every tenth level is a SUPER HARD boss fight that pays triple. The level after each one is easier.
How do I beat a boss?
Keep moving so it misses its hops, jump over the shockwaves after its big slam, then land on its head while it sits dizzy. Each hit takes away one bar of its health.
What happens when I lose all my hearts?
You can continue from your last checkpoint with full health, or retry the level for free. Win levels in a row to build a win streak that adds bonus cash.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It plays in portrait and landscape with big touch buttons, and with a keyboard or mouse on desktop.
