About Kickoff Solitaire

Kickoff Solitaire is the classic seven-column patience card game with a football deck. Numbered cards are players wearing their shirt number, the Jack is the coach, the Queen is the captain, the King is the club legend and every Ace is a trophy.

Build the four team piles of the Red Lions, Blue Waves, Gold Stars and Green Oaks from the Trophy Ace up to the Legend. Play 100 levels that a solver has checked can be won, with tougher Draw 3 deals marked HARD and SUPER HARD for double and triple cash, plus a Daily Deal that is the same for everyone and Quick Deals in any mode.

How to play

  1. Stack cards down the seven columns in alternating colours: red teams (Red Lions, Gold Stars) on black teams (Blue Waves, Green Oaks), one rank lower each time.
  2. Drag a card or a whole run to move it, or just tap it and it jumps to the best spot. Double-tap sends a card straight home.
  3. Tap the stock to draw one card (Draw 1) or three (Draw 3). Only a King can go into an empty column.
  4. Send every Ace home to its team pile and build each pile up from 2 to the King Legend.
  5. Stuck? Use a hint, undo a move, shuffle the stock or rewind to your last winnable position.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kickoff Solitaire free?

Yes. Every level can be won without spending coins. Coins are optional.

Can every level be won?

Yes. Every career level, the Daily Deal and Winnable Quick Deals were checked by a solver before they were added. Random Quick Deals may not be winnable.

What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?

In Draw 1 you turn one card from the stock at a time. In Draw 3 you turn three and can only play the top one, which makes it harder. HARD and SUPER HARD levels use Draw 3 and pay double and triple cash.

What does Rewind do?

When you run out of moves, Rewind takes you back to your last position that can still be won and shows you the next good move.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It plays in portrait and landscape with touch, and with a mouse or keyboard on desktop. Your game is saved so you can carry on later.
