About Through Ball

Through Ball is a football puzzle about the one moment that decides a match. Time stands still in front of goal: draw a line from your striker to a teammate to pass, then draw into the net to shoot. Bend your lines around the red rings of the defenders, and the whole move plays out in slow motion.

End a line on a teammate's head for a cross and a header, or on his chest for a first-time volley. Play an 80-level career from the youth team to the cup final, with HARD and SUPER HARD moments, a second-angle replay of every goal and three stars to collect on each level.

How to play

  1. Drag from your striker (gold ring) to a teammate to pass. Curve the line to bend the pass.
  2. Finish the line on a teammate's feet for a pass, on his chest for a volley or on his head for a cross.
  3. Drag from the player with the ball into the goal to shoot. Curl it around the keeper or aim for a corner.
  4. Keep your lines clear of the red rings: defenders inside them will block the ball, and the dashed ring shows how far they can lunge.
  5. Score to win the level. Complete the objective and score with style (curler, volley, header or top corner) for all three stars.

Frequently asked questions

Is Through Ball free?

Yes. Every level can be beaten without spending coins. Coins are optional.

How do I score a header?

Draw a pass that ends on your teammate's head. He jumps for the cross, and then you draw his header into the goal.

What are HARD and SUPER HARD levels?

Every 5th level is HARD and every 10th is SUPER HARD: more defenders and a faster keeper, but double or triple the cash reward.

What do the red rings mean?

The solid ring is where a defender can reach the ball. The dashed ring shows how far he can lunge once the ball is moving, so keep your lines outside it.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It plays in portrait and landscape with one finger, and with a mouse on desktop.
